Many Lucent Technologies voice terminals, including the CALLMASTER,
CALLMASTER II, and CALLMASTER III, have a button. Use the Mute
feature when you are on a call and want to speak with someone else, but don’t want
the caller to hear. The associated green status light goes on when this feature is in
use.

The following information applies only if you have a voice terminal that is equipped
with a display.
If an incoming call arrives while you are active on a call, the current display on your
voice terminal will be replaced with new incoming call information. The identity of
the incoming call normally remains displayed for 30 seconds unless there is another
incoming call, the caller hangs up, or you disconnect. After 30 seconds, the display
returns to the current call information.
Note: The 7405D and 7406D voice terminals must be in Normal mode to receive
Automatic Incoming Call Display data. This requirement is not necessary for 7407D
voice terminals or the CALLMASTER, CALLMASTER II, and CALLMASTER III
voice terminals.
Note: If your display terminal is connected to the DEFINITY ECS G3V4 (or later),
pressing the button, after making a Direct Agent call to (or receiving a call
from) a logged-in EAS agent, will display the extension where that agent is logged in.
